Today 16 of January 2009 is the "Translacion" or the transfer of the Holy Child Jesus (Sr. Sto. Niño) from Cebu City to Mandaue City. This will be followed by the Fluvial Parade this 17 of January 2009. Hope the weather will be fine...

 

YUMMY CRABS ALA SGT. BUGOY

Sgt. Bugoy, my mentor idol, cooked us for lunch one time and happened to prepare this Yummy Chili Crab...

The ingredients...

  ¼ cup butter (not margarine) 2-3 tablespoons finely chopped peeled ginger, more if you like ½ cup chopped white onion, more if you like 1-2 tablespoons of chopped garlic 4-10 chopped sili labuyo, depending on spiciness desired and spiciness of your sili Generous dashes of rock salt 4-6 cups of tomato sauce with some hot water added if sauce gets too thick (use less if you are cooking say 3 or more kilos of crab as it will be drowning in sauce)
